About Song: This is a remix of Rihanna’s Bitch Better Have My Money, which came out in 2015 and hopefully represents the vibe of her upcoming eith studio album.
Favorite Part: This is my new favorite song it just put such a good twist on the original. I love the outro (the last minute of the song). It’s got a little Timbaland vibe, and I love the way it kind of bends part of the chord structure. I don’t normally like this kind of remix but I love love love this one.
About Artist: The Fugees need no introduction. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel made two albums in the mid 90s. The second, The Score (1996), is an all time classic. The Beast is the fifth track on that album.

About Song: Jazmine Sullivan just released her third album a couple weeks ago and I’m a big fan.
Favorite Part: I love Jazmine Sullivan’s voice, and this is just a great song. I like that that slow but moving tempo, all the harmonies. I like the parts like at 1:10-1:21.

About Song: I don’t know much about this song except that it came out in late 2014. Also that it was produced by J. Dominguez Favorite Part: The production on this song is awesome. I love the video game sounds (Mario, the Donkey Kong drop at 1:55 etc). The rap is solid, and hook is the best part. So beautiful so soulful. Which is a suuuuper chill kind of smoke out album. This track is an official remix by New York based French producer YMNO. About Song: I don’t know how I came across this song on Sound Cloud but it caught me with the intro and then it just kind of rolled. Though I don’t smoke anymore it did bring me back to those days in a good way : ) This track is a little more upbeat than the original which is even more chill. Favorite Part: I like that the track is both laid back but also has sharp little rythem. And I do like the sound of her voice singing on the chorus.

Amerigo Gazaway is one of my favorite producers right now. He specializes in remake, mashups, redits, reworks, he is one of my all time favorite remix artists. About Song: This song is a cover of a Tribe Called Quest’s “Electric Relaxtion”, with some other lyrics from Tribe’s “Find A Way”, and a little musical bit from No Diggity (which I guess was originally Bill Withers). Favorite Part: This song is almost a little tooo laid back for my tastes but like how smooth she is on it, and it’s a creative reimagination of the two original Tribe Calle Quest songs.
Also, not gonna lie, I like the don’t mess with bill part at the end ;)

About Artist: Pharrell Williams is the hip hop producer, suave singer, style trendsetter, super talented musician extrodinaire. Alicia Keyes is a R&B queen (also a talented musician and piano player). About Song: This song is off of Pharrell’s recently released album G I R L. The album was only 10 tracks and was a bit of a let down but how could it not be with such high expectations. Happy was of course the lead single from the album but along with that and this Alicia Keys track track I really liked the outro ‘It Girl’ .
Favorite Part:
Though it’s a little repetitive I really like the hook especially when Alicia Keys sings it. It’s easy listening and it makes me feel good.

Favorite Part: I like the chorus, just Beyonce’s growly voice and the super sick base line on this track.

About Artist: Snow Tha Product is a Mexican American rapper of the Azealia Banks, Iggy Azalea wave. Snow makes those songs that you just want to bump at full volume. Her mixtape Good Nights & Bad Mornings was highly regarded. Snow got some hype from her independent album Unorthodox but really took off from her 90 second Youtube Video “Holy Shit” (watch it!) About Song: This song is off of Snow’s upcoming mixtape Good Nights & Bad Mornings 2: The Hangover. Another song from the same tape called On Now was also recently released and is really good. Favorite Part: I love how hard she goes! And this isn’t the only other song she does this on. Like I said earlier check out “Holy Shit”
