About Song: Apparently this song is a single from his first album Attention Deficit dropping September 22nd. It hasn’t been officially released yet but I’m hoping it hits the charts big when it does. Al Fatz – Came Down (ft Yung Joc & Gorilla Zoe).mp3 (right click and “save link as”) About Artist: I don’t know much about Al Fatz except that he’s from Cleveland. Chip tha Ripper who shares the album Came Down was realeased on, is also from Cleveland and has a slow Bun B style that really bumps well About Song: This track was orginally released in 2006 on Lil Wayne’s The W. Carter Collection 2 but this remix was released on Chip Tha Ripper and Al Fatz’ Double Trouble in 2008. This song is Great to drive becuase the beat is so simple but blasts like nothing else on decent speakers. Favorite Verse:1nd verse (0:26) Favorite Line: “You don’t gotta ask, you know I’m getting that cash, drop top chevy equipped with digital dash”(0:55) Its the way that digital dash fits the line that I like.
Clipse – Kinda Like A Big Deal (ft Kanye West).mp3 (right click and “save link as”) About Artist: Clipse is a veteran rap duo from Virginia known for their neptunes like production style and raw lyrics. Also on this track is Kanye West. Kanye West, originally a hip-hop producer for artists including Jay-Z, NaS, and Lil Kim, was hailed for his critically acclaimed debut album “College Dropout”. Since then Kanye has had his ups and downs in the media and his most recent album was a departure from his earlier style with dark emotional auto-tune heavy tracks. About Song: With his most recent album “808s & Heartbreak” in the past, Kanye returns to his tongue in cheek style rap style on this bumpin track. Released on Clipse’s 2009 album “Till the Casket Drops” this song, like many other Clipse songs, must be played on full volume. So Turn Those Speakers UP! Drake – Uptown.mp3 (right click and “save link as”) About Artist: Drake, a Canadian born child TV star, is now signed with Lil Wayne’s Cash Money/Young Money. Drake’s first album is set to release this fall and his single “Best I Ever Had” already plays on the radio like its the number one requested song. Drake could be considered an R&B artist but he does rap as well. About Song: Uptown (featuring Bun B and Lil Wayne) is a track off of Drake’s “So Far Gone” mixtape which came out in Febuary 2009. Wale brings the go-go beat of the DMV (DC Maryland Virginia) to national scene along with with tongue and check lines and his raw style. With his first mainstream single Chillin ft Lady Gaga, Wale’s first commercial album “Attention Deficit” comes out this September. Wale has been putting out tapes since 05 and already has a large library of really great tracks About Song: This song was released on his most recent mixtape “Back to the Feature” which has a feature on every track. This song features Tre (from UCB, Wale’s go-go band) and Young Cris. Favorite Verse:2nd verse (1:48) Favorite Line: “My president is black, so is my credit car” (1:57)

About Song:This song was released on the Neptunes’ (Pharrell and Chad Hugo) “Neptunes Presents…Clones” in 2003. Its an old favorite that is just classic Snoop. Favorite Verse:2nd verse (2:32) Favorite Line: “Its the diabolical chronological mythological psychological make a model hoe fuck a G” (2:32)

Lupe Fiasco – Fire.mp3 (right click and “save link as”) About Artist: Lupe Fiasco. Enough said. Lupe is one of the meanest lyricists of all time. Lupe breathed life back into hip hop in 2006 with his first album “Food and Liquor” hitting it big with help from Kanye West. Lupe’s coming out with his third album this fall called LASERS. About Song:This song isn’t gonna be on LASERS but was released in mid June. There are so many great Lupe tracks and this one is just a recent one I picked. Like other Lupe songs you have to listen to this song several times just to unpack the lyrics. Their first album will be self titled and will be released on August 11 2009. About Song: This is kind of a rock rap track. I like the track and the good rap makes it even better.
