About Artist: Clipse is a Virginia Rap duo who first made it big in 2002 with their album Lord Willin with tracks like Grindin and Cot Damn. Keri Hilson I don’t really care about but she’s like a pop R&B singer. This track is produced by the duo Neptunes, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, who have produced for Clipse in the past and are production AllStars.
About Song: This track is off of the Clipse’s 2009 album “Till The Casket Drops”. I don’t like this song as much as “Kinda Like a Big Deal” or “Popular Demand”, both of which I’ve posted on this blog, but its still a tight song.

Clipse – Kinda Like A Big Deal (ft Kanye West).mp3 (right click and “save link as”)
About Artist: Clipse is a veteran rap duo from Virginia known for their neptunes like production style and raw lyrics. Also on this track is Kanye West. Kanye West, originally a hip-hop producer for artists including Jay-Z, NaS, and Lil Kim, was hailed for his critically acclaimed debut album “College Dropout”. Since then Kanye has had his ups and downs in the media and his most recent album was a departure from his earlier style with dark emotional auto-tune heavy tracks.
About Song: With his most recent album “808s & Heartbreak” in the past, Kanye returns to his tongue in cheek style rap style on this bumpin track. Released on Clipse’s 2009 album “Till the Casket Drops” this song, like many other Clipse songs, must be played on full volume. So Turn Those Speakers UP!
Favorite Verse:2nd verse (1:04)
Favorite Line: “Fire Marshall said I took it to the Max like TJ ” (1:16)
“…Special Ed, got head from a girl in Special Ed , Ya know the pretty ones in that dumb class, But she got that dumb ass” (1:30)

Other:In the first verse when Clipse talks about Biggie (0:17) he then says “baby” (0:23) in the same style as Notorious B.I.G.
